Welcome
After moving to Korea a year and a half ago, I began to use a free blogging service to try and keep in touch with my family and friends in other parts of the world, in place of mass emails with unwieldy attachments. Over the past few months I’ve been working to upgrade to a more efficient and customisable website. Finally here it is.
There are a few differences. Firstly, I have a new website address (http://www.davidsouthkorea.com). The old one hasn’t gone anywhere, but I will no longer update it. Secondly, all of my photos are now hosted together with the site, instead of with a separate Flickr account. The galleries here will be a little bit more selective, so that people less patient than my parents can have a quick look at what I’m doing without wading through hundreds of photos. The Flicker account is still accessible from the link section, so if you really do want to look at hundreds of blurry photos of Korean children, you can. Comments work a lot better here as well, so you’re welcome to leave feedback. Say whatever you want, I’ll just delete them if I don’t consider them flattering enough. Also things should be slightly better organised here.
The new site provides me with options to expand and try various interesting things, so don’t worry about any oddities that might appear here over the next few months.
